About the project

The Concept

The Starter Home Project returns fair home pricing to the marketplace.  Through collaboration and the right tools, the homes that are part of The Project will remain affordable for 31 years, enabling. more people to begin the homeownership journey.

These homes are manufactured, which helps lower costs and reduce build time.  Modular housing was designed with you in mind.  The Starter Home Project goes a step further with a simple deed restriction model that means you’re paying under appraised value and your neighbors will still maintain the equity in their homes.

About Modular Homes

  • Built in a climate controlled factory, modular homes are more energy efficient and built to code. 
  • Cost effective, reduced build time, and reduced waste to build adds to the sustainability of this starter home.
  • Attached on site to a basement or crawl space, this home is built like every other on the block.  
  • To ensure lasting affordability, the Starter Home Project includes a deed restriction that helps build equity.
